Kool-Aid dye adventure

On Friday before I left for Cambridge my merino yarn came in from KnitPicks so I broke out the big pot and the grape and orange flavoured Kool-Aid to play around and get me some nice sock yarn. This was the result. Most of my favourite colours are in there, and the variegation is neat. I sort of expected the yarn to pool since I didn’t have any way of keeping the colours from blending, but I’m very happy with the way that it came out.
